(Rochester, NY) 10/01/04 - The former Rochester Psychiatric Center on Elmwood Avenue has been sold after standing vacant for years.
One new owner is local; the other is out of state. S.N. Phelps of Connecticut bought the high rise building for $750,000.
The Al Sigl Center bought 15 acres with smaller buildings which will be kept for future expansion.
There's no word yet on what they plan to do with it.
The sale of the former Psychiatric Center complex will be final in October.
