I just read an article that this church in Rochester is
renovating. They spent $137,000 for this cupola thing for the top of the church. It looks nice and all, but couldn't that
money be spent on something better?! Helping the needy would be a good start. Having a nice church is always nice but thats
not what its supposed to be about. I figured, $137,000 would be enough to feed a person (or 2) for 38 years.

I agree. Some people just miss the whole dang point, don't they?
And of all things - a church!! spending money on something they don't need! Jeesh.

( I'm not saying your wrong in your views when I say this..)
You'd be very very surprised where that money that people put in the collection plate at some churches goes to. My last
priest rode a Harley. Nice bike too. Then he traded it and got a brand new Expedition the first year they came out. So much
for all the talk they tell us on adopting a child in Somalia and feeding the hunger and blah blah blah.

Those tv preachers amaze me. Saying how badly they need money
for god. Since when did god need money? I really don't think that anyone that created humans really has a use for
money...

Yea, what a joke! Ha! I never watch them cause they make me sick.
Sometimes, I'll listen for a couple just to have a laugh. I have to say I really like our priest at church. He puts a
different spin on things.

I think church is overrated. My mother was brought up that you go
to church every single Sunday and religious Holidays. And it has just been recently that she has skipped a week (gasp!) here
and there. I honestly think that you should go to church when you feel like it. If you are going to go just to go and not pay
attention - just go through the motions - then what's the point?

I have too many questions yet that are unanswered and when i ask
them, I get nothing. So I moved to the city and use that as my excuse why I don't go anymore.l

I'm pretty sure that the only reason I'll ever go there for is
to set up a bomb on a tripwire to blow the place up as soon as the director walks in the door.
