Sometimes I'll crank it up to 74-75 and run around naked! :rolllaugh

well depends, right now i set it between 64 and 66, and it actually keeps the house very warm. We'll see when its in the single digits!

We keep it around 70-72, so I picked 71.

We haven't had the heat on in two days! Maybe by this weekend we'll have to turn it back on.

I think that once we have the spare bedroom finished and I go around to the windows in the basement and replace them with glass block that it'll make a huge difference in our heating bill and we won't have to have the heat up all the high.

Although we only have the heat set at 68º and it stays pretty warm in there

Maybe you should insulate the floors down there too.

You could change the weather outside too!

Believe it or not, the basement floors ARE insulated already. There aren't very many places in the house that aren't. Although the insulation thats in the basement was installed backwards. The paper side is supposed to be to the heated side and its not. Its toward the basement floor. Cleaner but not right.
Maybe you should insulate the floors down there too.

I think the outside thermostat has been stuck on 'hot and sticky' for too long now. Not that I want freezing and snow, but geesh how bout a little rain for a day or 2?
