yea, that no-carb diet thingy just causes more violence in the
world. I'm just waiting for that headline - "Woman stabs 18 yr old on bus for bagel."

Thats what I am trying to do. But I am doing modified Atkins. I
started with the maintenance portion which allows complex carbs like potatoes and fruit but still no bread. I figure as long
as I eat like that most of the time I can cheat once in a while. BTW lost 2lbs even after the garbage plate with Davagator.
Didnt eat all of it though, way too much food for me!

Yea that is a lot of food. I did my
own version of the Atkins diet. It worked...and you do need to cheat every once in a while...not too often
though.

Well at my Dr's apt
yesterday, I am 10 lbs lighter than I was when I got pregnant. But I would like to drop at least another 20.... Not gonna
happen with the appetite I got after having her. I gotta try though, done it before, hard part is starting, but once I get
past that Im good to go!

modified Atkins would work for you. Just have to try it. I did
it and I like the same foods as you. Mos tpeople have problems with atkins because of the urge to snack... it really
revolves on what you snack on.

sancking wouldn't bother me. Its the no bread no potatoes that
would kill me! I can't not eat potatoes and not have bread. Those are the staples in which I was raised upon. Hell even the
Army had bread and some kind of potatoe at every single meal. I didn't realize how many different versions of potatoes there
were till Basic Training.

Counting calories had
always worked for me. Takes a while to get used to ealting a little less. Plus I think it made me eat better, cause I would
chose things to eat based on the calorie content, which meant most things were better for me. And the things high in
calories, well I would just eat a little of. I really need to exercise. Maybe now that the weather is gettng nicer, crsh and
I can start walking with little Zoe!

I just try to go by the motto
"everything in moderation." It would drive me crazy if I counted calories or couldn't eat certain
foods.
