Readers Digest

I don't know if any of

you get the Readers Digest, but I do. My subscription is about to expire. I've decided not to renew it. They raised the

rate and increased the number of ads in it. In this months issue there were 88 pages of ads (out of about 218 pages)!!!

Thats like 40% of the magazine being ads...that I paid for. No more!!

Hey! There are some pretty good articles in there! We keep them

in our bathroom for reading material.

Well it depends if it is after Taco night with a lot of hot sauce

I am in there awhile, but if it a casual crap the mag. with the "GOOD" articles will do.

yes, i have read playboy articles, but i won't lie - i like

playboy for the pictures more than the articles. :smt045

It's not that often that I'm in there long enough to read an

entire article - once in awhile I'll get hooked and just sit on the pot and finish it. But usually I'll bend the page I

left off on and pick it up the next time I'm in there. I'm not a big bathroom

reader.

bet your ass that when I pick up a playboy, its cause the cover was HOT and while I'm thumbing through all the ads I'm

lookin for color! The only other part I like to look at first is the little cartoons at the bottoms of the pages. Some of

them are sooooo funny. The most vivid one that comes to mind is this couple in bed. Its new years and the guy is about

wasted. He looks drained. His ol lady is on all fours over him and says "just think hunny, It'll be midnight 5 more times

tonight!" \:D/
