I normally don't talk specifics about work, but this has to be one of the most dumb computer calls i've ever had.
Yesterday at 4:48 I get a priority page about a machine with a virus. I was like "FUCK!! I don't want to do this now!" So I go over to the infected machine, and look at the antivirus software log. No Virus Found it says. Just to be sure I did a manual scan...No Virus Found.
So I asked the chick "How did it tell you that the computer has a virus?"
"Oh, when I go to certain web pages, there's a flashing box that says A virus has been found."
"Does the box say Trend Micro?"
"No, I says Internet Explorer."
(biting my tongue)" It's an advertisement!!"
