When an unscrupulous film director takes his crew to an uncharted island to shoot a movie, his leading lady is offered up by the villagers as a sacrifice to the 25-foot tall gorilla that lives in the jungle. The actress and the ape develop a bond, and when the big guy is captured and put on display in New York, he does what all tourists do - he takes his gal for a date at the top of the Empire State Building.
I thought the movie was awesome - I was laughing, I was anxious, I was sad, it had it all. It is a long movie, but if you have no problem hankering down with a big tub of popcorn, you'll be fine.
