I HATE contact paper. Had to rip it off kitchen shelves this past wkend - which was tough enough - and then it was still sticky! So, I'm basically screwed. Either put more contact paper on or try (for hours!!!) to scrub sticky stuff off. Uuuugggh! :smt013

soak it in dish soap... i've found that dish soap gets tape sticky stuff off

Goo Gone works really well too! Half the time of soaking it too.

yeah my mom and I found that stuff back when I was in like 4th grade. called it something else back then and only janitors could get it. Great stuff.

Try nail polish remover it has a solvent that removes sticky stuff. Becareful if there is any paint near by.
