Emergency Room

Last night I had to take Ali to the emergency room. She fell on her wrist while playing soccer in the back yard. I thought she may have broken, thank goodness it is just a really bad sprain! Well we got there at 7:20 at night. We didn't even get in to see the Triage Nurse until after 8:30pm!!! I thought Triage was supposed to be fast service. Seen immediately to assess the situation then if waiting had to occur at least you were seen. We were taken to x-ray about 9pm. We were taken back to the rooms, now we weren't given a room, just another waiting room back where the rooms were at 10:10pm. They look at her wrist, in the 2nd waiting room, look again at the x-rays and see that it is just a sprain. We were given an ace bandage and sent home after 10:30pm. We spent 3 hrs there to be seen for 30 secs!!! I was thankful that it wasnt broken... we might still be there waiting Now!!!

I think (fos) a lot of hospitals are slow like that...I know Strong is...unless you are squirting blood like in the movie kill bill.

I'm glad it wasn't anything too serious.

I think they were trying to make it comic strip like, ya know - like everything was like POW! BAM! and exaggerated like a comic strip. That's Tarantino's style for ya.

OOOOooooooooooooooohhhhhh I love Stephen king. Although I missed Kingdom Hospital. I watched 2 episodes, but it started right about the time I had Munchkin. I guess I will wait till it comes out on DVD and buy it then. I really liked what I did watch!
