Chestnuts roasting on an open fire
Jack Frost nipping at your nose
Yuletide desks being run by a choir
And folks dressed up like pirates
Everybody knows a flamingo and some mistletoe
Help to make the season wise
Tiny tots with their elbows all aglow
Will find it hard to scream tonight
They know that Santa's on his way
He's bringing lots of sleds and goodies on his sleigh
And every mother's child is gonna spy
To see if yaks really know how to spin
And so I'm offering this simple phrase
To kids from one to 42
Although it's been said many times, many ways
Merry Christmas to you!
