Sticky Lips

Everyone at work raves about this place so I thought I'd finally try it. The place is pretty damn good. It's similiar to Dinosaur BBQ. Some people like Dino better but I've heard almost the same amount of people say they like sticky lips better. Guess it's a toss up.

I had the Brisket Bomber sandwich and mashed potatoes w/ gravey and mac and cheese. The Brisket has slices of real smoked steak not the crappy roast beef looking stuff. It had bacon, mushrooms, and melted cheddar on it. Yum~. The mashed potatoes were pretty good. They mix some of the skins, garlic, and some green herbs in so be prepared for that if you don't like that. Can't wait to try some smoked chicken next time. Also wanna try the pulled pork. I'd recommend the place if you haven't gone yet! It's across the street from where I work so I'll be going again very very soon!

I've only been there once, but I was pretty impressed. I liked their fried green tomatoes better than the Dino's. I still think fos the Dino is better overall when you combine atmosphere, music, AND food, but Sticky Lips is right up there.

We had them cater our rehearsal dinner 3 years ago!

I've had their chicken, which is awesome, their pulled pork, which is awesome, and their ribs, which were AMAZING! Love the corn bread. For my sides I usually get their BBQ beans, and sweet tater fries! OHH YUM!

I had the pulled pork last week. It was AWESOME. Had rice and beans and mashed potatoes again. Slowly wanna try everything on the menu. FRIED PICKLES are next!
