Speaking of banks, I think HSBC sucks. I closed the account I

had with them before I got married (almost 2 yrs ago) and few months ago I got a statement from them! Out of the blue all of

a sudden I had 74 cents in my account, which is odd because I withdrew everything the day I wen t and closed the account. So,

I called them and told them I had closed the account a long time ago and I didn't even care about the 74 cents and he said

(in his foreign accent that I couldn't understand) that it was too bad, I had to come in person and close the

account.....again. :smt014

 maybe the tricky evil flamingos secretly deposited 74 cents

into your account at the exact time when you thought you withdrew all your money. although..... if there was money in that

account, why weren't you getting monthly statements then??? :?:

maybe if you all are getting money that you didn't think you had,

why not just sit back and laugh at them and collect the interest. its free money. you're not paying anything on it out of

your own pocket so... By the time you retire you might have a few bucks that you can say you stole from the bank :)

That would be great, except

the balance is ZERO!

I see what you're saying crsh, but it's the point that I

thought the account was closed and come to find out it wasn't, which kinda makes me nervous. I get paranoid with things like

that cause then I start thinking what if I didn't know it was still open and identity theft and so on...... :smt115

thats a good point. S had someone steal here CC info. That was

scary. luckily she watches her statement like a hawk. Her X was supposed to take her off another line of credit too but he's

a dick and didn't, Told her he did, and yet she can still log in and see the funds and whatnot, then she called about it and

the Bank says "no mam he didn't take you off yet, he has to fill out some paperwork and send it back to us" WOw what an

asshole.

I usually check all my accounts online everyday.
