Davagator, when I'm on my computer at work the smilies
are doing their thing, but when I'm home, the smilies aren't moving -they're frozen. Do you know why? Is there something I
need to change on my computer? :?:

check this:
Start Internet Explorer (if it is not already
started).
On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
Click the Advanced tab.
In the Settings box, under Multimedia,
click to select the Play animations in web pages check box, and then click OK.

:?: so they never move at all? What version Winders do you have?
What version Internet Explorer? Are you using something other than Internet Explorer? You might want to try going to Tools
> Internet Options... In the middle is Temporary Internet files Click on Delete
Files. (this may take a few minutes)
Josh, any ideas?

this one is a funny one... Both things I would have mentioned to
do, you've tried. Give me some more time and I"ll see what I can find. which ones aren't moving? the ones in the window
when you choose "view more emoticons" or those AND the ones in the forums? If its jut the ones in the window, try hitting
F5 when you have the window open. That will refresh the page and maybe get these guys movin... There is a stale file
somewhere, we just have to find it

I've asked a few of
the smarter techs here about this problem. They pretty much covered everything that we have already tried. One suggested to
reinstall Internet Explorer, one other said to run Spybot. You can get that for free here:
http://davagator.com/DL/spybotsd12.exe
:!: after you install it, make sure you run the update! And for
the download server, I recommend selecting
Rootboxen.net

seems sort of drastict to do that. I
wonder if I could wipe out just IE and reinstall it. I think there is a program called IE eradicator
