A woman and three men were arrested Wednesday night after police found them smoking marijuana in the presence of two baby girls - ages six months and one year - who were in a filthy apartment filled with cat droppings, sex toys and adult videos, police said.
Jodie L. Courson, 20, of Clinton Street; Richard Holland, 21, of East Eagle Street; David McCallum, 36; and Jesse Halliday, 25, of Walden Avenue were charged with criminal possession of marijuana. Courson and Holland also were charged with child endangerment.
Ferry-Fillmore District Officers Joseph Ledwin and Matthew Mulhern said they responded to a neighbor's complaint, arriving at Holland's East Eagle home at about 7 p.m. and found the four adults sitting around a table smoking marijuana.
Police said they confiscated about 2.5 pounds of marijuana in various rooms and the refrigerator, and a scale.
Officers said they also found a small bag of marijuana in Holland's pocket and a small bag of marijuana in a canister on the table.
