Confucious say: show off always shown up showdown.

WHAT

Sounds to me like the english interpreter was on vacation the day they wrote that!

I love reading the signs and stuff that chinese restaurants

post! They are so funny because everything is singular - there's no plural. It'll say "Green Bean with Vegetable"!!

Ahahaaa! And last night while we were there we asked what the black stuff in the hot and sour soup was - we thought it was

seaweed or mushroom. The chinese girl told us it was fungus! LOL! She meant mushroom, but she didn't know what we called it.

It was funny.

 Its pretty sad when

you eat in a chinese food place so often that they start to recognize you, and say "Good to see you again" when that seat

you!

What's even worse is when you fear they won't let you

come back! My husband the other nite was so funny, but i think they might think he's crazy. Either that or they must think

he loves fortune cookies. What happened is he went to open his fortune cookie and when he pulled the plastic open it went

flying out about 3 feet away, landed on the floor and in the midst of this happening he yelled out "Noooooo!!!" while it

happened loud enough for the people around us to notice and giggle. And to top it off....he ate it anyway! Oh, how I love

him!

I can imagine the cookie flying thru the air and everything is in

slow motion.

Yup. He follows the 5 second rule. The other night he did

the same thing at home. We ordered subs and he wanted to toast his in the toaster oven. When he tried to take it out it was

hot (duh!) and he dropped it on the floor. Didn't matter, he scooped it back together and ate it. At least we know just how

clean (or dirty!) our own floor is.....I guess? :smt101

Now that I might have done. Not in this house but in the one

we're about to own... cause, like you, I'd know how clean it was. Still kinda gross though. lol

I agree. Especially when it's a piece of

food that stuff can stick to. Ya know, because it has mayo on it. I don't think it's as gross if it's something like a

skittle because those are easy to wipe off and pop in your mouth.....unless it already was in your mouth and then fell on the

floor. That would be really gross.
