My neighbor and I were shootin

the shit the other day and he mentioned he took his wife to the Red Osier for dinner for Valentines. (He was supposed to

anyway but changed there minds). My roommate who has lived in the city of Rochester his whole life didn't have a clue what

the Red Osier was. Here I am a farm-trailertrash-kid and I knew what that place is. I was dumbfounded. Well as we're talkin

more and more I mentioned that someone put the "kabosh" on something I was doing and had me move on to something else. He

looked at me like "what the hell did you just say in another language?" Then he asked me that same question. I was like

dude!, you've never heard that word before?
"No way of course not. what is it?"

Is it just me and I'm makin

this stuff up? Have any of you heard the word Kabosh used? I know some of you won't know what the Red Osier is but most

will... I hope :smt017 weird

I have heard of the word Kabosh. I have said it a few times. And

I think maybe, the Red Osier is a really nice steak restaurant. Expensive if I am not mistaken.

i've used it before, but i've heard it. I said hankerin' the other day and someone looked at me funny. Ya know, like

"i've got a hankerin' for pizza..." you've heard that before, right? Actually, I felt like a total hick after it came
