(Rochester, NY) 07/09/04 - A powdery substance found inside a mail box in the plaza next to the Perinton Wegmans will be tested today.
The powder was in a brown bottle.
A postal worker emptying the mail box found the unaddressed package Thursday.
No one was hurt, but part of the plaza was evacuated while a hazardous materials team examined the package.
Mail was also taken for testing and the mailbox will be removed while the investigation continues.
