Got into this discussion at work and I'm just suprised at how many couples don't tell eachother "I love you" that often. Mark and I say it everytime we leave eachother, before we hang up on the phone, and probably several times a day on top of that. So, I thought I'd ask this wacky group their opinion. For those of you that don't have a significant other, please feel free to post your opinion on this subject anyway.

Agreed... so do Crsh and I. I probably say it more to him. I guess I just feel like I cant express it enough, of if something out of the blue happened, I wanted to make sure that he knows! :smt008 That goes for kissing too!

Not as often as I should....guess it's sort of taken for granted. But that's not a good thing either...shouldn't take stuff like that for granted! Thanks for the question; it makes me think more!

I don't like to use the term loosely. I do tell Cutie I love her when we seperate and such. But when its used all the time it just becomes something you say. I want it to actually mean something and throw her off guard when I say it. I'm not sure I'm describing it right but I hope you get my jist.

In my life, the L-word is forbidden except in some really rare circumstances. In that event, when we say it, it really means something profound. :-k Like you're getting on a plane and could die, or having surgery, or just dropped the last roll of toilet paper into to toilet... :smt023 that kind of thing.

We say it all the time. However, I'd like it to really mean something at certain times. If you say it all the time, when you really want it to mean something, its like " eh, ok ". But if you don't say it all the time, then it really hits home when it DOES come out. I don't know... I have mixed feelings about this one.

agreed with the above statements. Sometimes its just too generic, other times its really powerful.

I concur. How do you say it enough, without it losing it's meaning? I guess actions speak louder than words anyway, right? :-k
