Benefits

I was having a conversation with a friend one day about no strings attached friends with benefits kind of a friendship. And again today read a "Dear Prudence" about the subject (although a little disturbing being the people were 60 and 70).

I was just wondering what other peoples opinions were on this subject :-k

That's a difficult question......sometimes you wonder about benefits being just that - benefits and nothing attached. Could it work? That's where the question comes in - I think people would say "sure, we're detached and enjoying the benefits and don't have the attachement" but .....I think an attachment would evolve...and with it a whole lot of challenges!

Hmm.... Ok I know the story behind the one that worked out, I wonder what happened to the one that didnt?

I'd have to say the one that worked out probably was not a real success...too many strings attached I'd guess. Ones that don't work out could cause tensions between the two people I'd guess...and could destroy any thought of friendship down the road......

This is a tough one...wow!
