(Cameron, NY) 08/16/04 -- New York State Police in Steuben County are investigating a murder and a suicide.
Responding to a call, state police found George Gerdik, 72, and his wife Inge Gerdik couple dead of a single gunshot wound. They were sitting next to each other on their front porch on Coon Road in the town of Cameron.
Police say there were no signs of foul play inside the residence.
